Most of our team spend their days helping other people and although we record quite a lot of statistics, we don’t shout enough about the sheer volume of things we do.  So, here’s a flavour of four “business as usual” months in TechResort.

Between April and July this year we have:

• run 215 hours’ of free-to-attend drop-ins in 26 different venues across East Sussex, welcoming a staggering 625 people of all ages to come and get digital and other help

 

• Received 97 phones and 75 laptops or desktops to be repurposed or properly recycled

 

• donated 65 devices and accessories to people who need them to help get or keep online

 

• organised and run 22 free-to-attend workshops for children and young people in Eastbourne and Hastings

 

• offered work experience placements to 9 young people from across the county

 

• Employed 6 young people from Eastbourne in their first job.
